Radio and TV presenter Roman Kemp has issued an apology for past abusive tweets following a series of reports that he’s set to head Down Under and join the cast of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! 2019.
Roman, son of former Eastenders star Martin Kemp, has been heavily rumoured to be one of this year’s camp mates in recent weeks and opened up to fans on Instagram about his past social media use ahead of his latest TV appearance.
The 26-year-old shared a video to his Instagram story, in which he explained: “I wanted to talk about something I’ve seen a lot of celebrities talking about, and people around the world talking about, and that is the use of language online.”
Roman revealed he had checked his own Twitter account to see if he had ever posted “anything that could cause harm or offence to someone” and admitted he had found things he’s “not proud of”.
