Joey Essex’s ex-girlfriend Brenda Santos has finally spoken out about her whirlwind romance with the TOWIE legend three months after they called it quits.
Joey began dating the Brazillian model last summer - just months after splitting from Celebrity Ex on the Beach girlfriend Lorena Medina - and things moved quickly for the pair, with Brenda moving into Joey’s Essex mansion and meeting his friends and family at his 30th birthday party.
But it was all over by October as a source close to the couple claimed they split after “spending so much time together took its toll”.
Although they largely kept their relationship out of the spotlight (well, as much as possible when you’re reality royalty), Brenda has now shared intimate details of her relationship with Joey.
She revealed, “We would have sex every day. Sometimes we would do it many times a day, depending on the mood.
“He was giving and generous in bed. Joey said he loved my body, especially my ‘bum-bum’ as you say in Brazil.”

“Joey is very clever. He pretends to be silly, it’s his job,” she added to The Sun.

But despite the “great chemistry” and “physical connection” between the couple, Brenda revealed she and Joey went their separate ways after rowing during lockdown.
She explained, “It got too crazy in the end. We both sat down and said it wasn’t working. I said our relationship was not healthy and wasn’t going to be good.
“We come from different lives, different cultures. We both deleted our pictures on social media. It’s normal. My focus is on my work.”
Brenda has since returned to her homeland of Brazil to spend time with family and friends although has plans to return to the UK with “a fresh head”.
Meanwhile, Joey is clearly ready to move on as he’s signed up to appear on the next series of Celebs Go Dating alongside fellow reality stars Chloe Ferry, Curtis Pritchard and Sophie Hermann.
