Katie Price’s worst fear: Christmas behind bars

Katie Price might have thought things could not possibly get any worse, what with recently being made bankrupt. But now, the star is in yet more trouble with the law – and terrified she could end up in jail.

It was revealed last week that the 41 year old’s ex-boyfriend Charles Drury went to the police after Katie allegedly threatened to kill him. After a source said that Katie had told the electrician she would “f**king kill him if he came near the house”, Derbyshire police confirmed that they were looking into a “dispute between a man and his ex-partner”.

Katie and Charles had a brief fling back in September, but the next month, he gave an interview where he rated her “one out of ten” in bed and claimed she’d stay up for days on cocaine binges.

And now an insider close to Katie tells heat, “Katie fully believes she could end up in prison over Christmas, because at this point, she feels as though anything could happen – she really is at breaking point. She thinks everybody has got it in for her. Losing her temper with Charles really scared her, but she feels as though he is relentlessly trying to bring her down. She’s worried that if the police do show up the next time she’s in a rage, things might all kick off.”

To add to her woes, the mum of five is also having to consider her Christmas options, now she risks losing her so-called “mucky mansion” following her bankruptcy.

“She’s still begging people for help, including Peter [Andre, her ex husband],” says the source.

“She’s asked him if he would consider paying for a stint in a nice rehab clinic. She feels it would be best if she was out of the country, so she could take stock of everything and recharge her batteries. She also hasn’t ruled out flying to Turkey with [on/off boyfriend] Kris Boyson to get some more surgery.”

But while Pete recently said he will “always wish nothing but the best” for Katie, we’re not sure he has the power to keep her out of prison.

“Her friends have urged her to clean up her act and get help, because going to prison isn’t beyond the realms of possibility for her,” says our source.

“They’ve told her that she has to be really careful about not breaking the agreement of her bankruptcy deal.

“She also has to keep away from her exes, and that includes Charles now. But Katie’s like a ticking time bomb. Who knows what will happen?”, they concluded.
