Our mates over at Hits Radio Breakfast were joined by Katy Perry this morning, which is pretty exciting in itself. Even more exciting, though? Katy revealed her next door neighbour is ACTUAL ADELE.

As she was asked about life in lockdown as she promoted new single Daisies, she casually dropped in that she has a very famous friend in the form of the Hello hitmaker.
Telling the show that she lives next to Adele, Katy revealed: "She’s my next door neighbour, so she’s, like, not only is she on the scene, but she’s, she’s, like, around the corner."
She went on to explain: "We live very close to each other, so close that, and we’re friendly and we’ve known each other for a long time, so close, I haven’t seen her in person since she’s been, like, you know, transforming herself because pre-quarantine I was busy, she was busy."

Adele recently wowed her fans when she shared a rare photo of herself to her Instagram, along with a caption thanking all of the key workers who have been working through the Coronavirus Pandemic.
Katy recounted a time last year when Adele called round unexpectedly, "I remember sometime last year, she just knocks on my door and comes in. I’m in my robe, I mean, that’s how, like, it’s fun. She’s great.
"She’s very real," Katy continued. "Yeah. Yeah. My, the funny thing is, is, I’ve known her for a while, right, and I think a girl that was working for me at the time answered the door and she’s like, Adele is here and I was still, like, sleeping. It was, like, 11 o’clock or something like that and I was like, okay, I’ll just get in my robe and she just, we just had a chat and a, a cuppa."

This all comes as a source tells heat that Adele feels self-conscious despite her recent body transformation.
"Adele is finding the attention very embarrassing and still cringes when she walks into a room and all eyes are on her,” an insider tells us. “She admits that although she may now look the best she ever has, she still gets incredibly self-conscious about her appearance, and sometimes finds it hard to believe that she looks as good as people say she does.
“She says she’s shocked when she looks in the mirror, but she’s really enjoying buying so many new clothes and is having a blast trying things on – from skimpy dresses to statement red-carpet creations. It’s like she’s making up for lost time, and she’s spent thousands of dollars.”
