We’ve got quite used to the Kardashians debuting new looks every other week, but Khloé Kardashian’s recent Instagram photo truly shocked fans. Posting two pictures showing off a new hair colour and a dramatic make-up look, Khloé’s celeb friends were full of over-the-top compliments, while fans were baffled by the seemingly unbelievable transformation.
But an insider close to the reality star tells us the 35 year old “couldn’t care less about any criticism of her bold new look”, and that she is proud to be receiving comments from fans telling her she’s “the hottest sister” out of Kourtney, 41, Kim, 39, Kendall, 24, and 22-year-old Kylie.
“Khloé’s spent her entire life being labelled the ugly duckling, and it’s taken a lot of work for her to achieve a glamorous look she’s truly proud of,” we’re told. “All Photoshop backlash aside, Khloé is loving the positive comments, and privately she believes she’s looking better than her sisters.”
Our source adds that Khloé – who recently celebrated her daughter True’s second birthday – will work out for two to three hours a day to achieve her desired results. “She does plenty of cardio, plus hundreds of simple exercises like squats, planks and push-ups. And she follows the strictest of diets with the help of a nutritionist.”

And while many fans questioned how much Khloé owed this new look to surgery, we’re told she’s really proud of everything she’s achieved naturally – even if she has had the help of a few nips and tucks, too. “It upsets her that people say it’s all down to surgery,” our insider says. “She’d rather focus on the natural things that have worked for her.”
The source continues, “Everyone knows she’s had lasers and fillers galore, plus several operations on her nose, but now she’s getting private messages telling her she’s by far the hottest sister in the family – that makes Khloé feel proud of what she’s achieved.”
