They’ve been living separate lives for months now, with sources saying they’re barely speaking. But if Kanye West thought that his grand return to Los Angeles last week would prompt some acknowledgment from his estranged wife Kim Kardashian, he had another thing coming. Not only was she in no mood for crisis talks, she also made it very clear that he wasn’t welcome anywhere near her.
According to insiders, the mum of four has been removing any trace of Kanye from her life ahead of their impending divorce – starting with changing the locks at their Calabasas mansion.
“Kim’s ramped up security,” says an insider close to the 40 year old, who still hasn’t spoken publicly about her and Kanye’s reputed $100m divorce – despite it being reported she’s being represented by LA power attorney Laura Wasser.
“All the old codes he had for their home are null and void, as well as all her internet and iCloud passwords. Kim is allowing Kanye’s assistants to make appointments to pick up what he needs from their home, and she’s not ruled out mediation meetings at a lawyer’s office in the future, but the days of them living under one roof are well and truly over.”

The pair tied the knot in 2011 but after 72 days and crying on her reality show, they called it quits.

Kim and Kanye were friends for years but following her split from Kris Humpheries they grew closer, started dating, welcomed North West and in 2014 they got married. They've also welcomed Saint, Chicago and Psalm into the world.
Last week, Kanye was pictured arriving in Los Angeles via private jet following another stay at his Wyoming ranch – and was later seen checking into a hotel. As heat has previously reported, Kim spent the first part of last year fighting for their six-year marriage and pushing for couples’ counselling, but Kanye wasn’t interested, and would instead disappear without notice.
Now, we’re told, he’s keen for a face-to-face meeting, but Kim has said it’s too late and she’ll only entertain his demands when it comes to seeing their four children – North, seven, Saint, five, Chicago, three, and 20-month-old Psalm.

“She allows him visits with the kids – at a neutral venue – and she would never say a bad word to them about their dad,” says the source. “He says she owes him the dignity of a face-to-face explanation and the chance to hear him out, but Kim’s not willing to risk the drama.”
The source continues, “He also wants access to his belongings and is disgusted with Kim for locking him out of his own home. He’s been mouthing off to their mutual friends, saying he won’t be bullied into doing things on the Kardashians’ terms. But Kim believes that Kanye has a ton of work to do on himself and until he’s done that, this is how things have to be.”
