Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s lavish $20million Venice wedding may have been the main event, but it was guests Kim Kardashian and Orlando Bloom who stole the spotlight after they were seen ‘flirting’ at the star-studded bash last weekend.

Orlando was spotted greeting Kim with a hug before the pair had a cosy chat at the start of the three-day wedding, which came amid his reported split from fiancée Katy Perry.

And now a source tells heat that it hasn’t gone down well with the pop star, who feels ‘humiliated’ that Orlando is living his best single life in front of the world so soon.

‘Katy was already feeling raw, but seeing Orlando flirting with Kim crushed her,’ we’re told. ‘She’s disgusted by him and furious with Kim, too. She feels betrayed by both of them, it's humiliating. It has got Katy feeling extremely jealous, and she can't help but imagine the worst. Katy figured Orlando was going to cut loose at the wedding, but she wasn't prepared for him to be anything like as brazen as he was. It was very obvious he went there to announce himself as Hollywood's newest bachelor. He didn't even try to hide it or show any sensitivity.'

Katy has been friends with Kim, 44, for years, and it was only six weeks ago that the pair partied together in Paris for Lauren’s hen do. But it seems Orlando, 48, has been a fan of Kim’s for a while, too – back in September, the actor appeared to take a cheeky look at Kim's bum at a New York gala, while Katy, 40, was standing next to him. It didn't go unnoticed by fans, who commented on his 'wandering eye'.

Orlando and Katy - who were together for nine years - last week confirmed their split, saying in a statement that they ‘have been shifting their relationship over many months to focus on co-parenting’. And it’s clearly been a tough time for Katy, who was seen breaking down during her final Australian show on her worldwide Lifetimes tour last week.

‘Thank you for always being there for me. It means the world,’ she told her fans.

Sparks first flew between the couple when they fought over an In-N-Out burger after a Golden Globes after-party in January 2016. They got engaged in 2019, welcoming daughter Daisy Dove the following year. Orlando also has son Flynn, 14, with ex Miranda Kerr.

With Katy not able to attend the wedding due to touring commitments, despite being friends with fellow space traveller Lauren, it seems Orlando was ready to let loose. As well as Kim, he was also seen enjoying a walk with actress Sydney Sweeney, and was spotted talking to Leonardo DiCaprio’s model girlfriend Vittoria Ceretti in a water taxi. He was also pictured in a cab with Jamie Mizrahi, Katy’s former stylist.

‘The whole situation is so embarrassing for Katy. Orlando was prancing around Venice like a single man when they hadn’t even announced their separation,’ our insider continues.

‘Adding to the insult of it all, Katy was supposed to be at the wedding – she’s the one that’s close to Lauren and Jeff. But she didn’t stand in Orlando’s way or kick up a fuss that he chose to go without her, mainly because she figured he’d show some respect and not rub her nose in it by being insensitive.

‘The betrayal is unforgivable. A lot of Katy’s friends are saying he’s made her look like a fool and owes her a grovelling apology. But Orlando’s not seeing it that way. He’s saying what a great time he had, and how happy and liberated he feels now everyone knows he’s single. Katy’s in a state of disbelief. She’s stunned and angry right now – and for good reason.’

And when it comes to their future, our source adds, ‘They still have a lot to figure out – not just the custody arrangements with Daisy, but how they divide their property, who gets guardianship of their many pets, and other loose ends. It’s obviously a really difficult situation for both of them, and mediation is the likely way forward.’
