Scott Disick and Sofia Richie looked like the picture of happiness last week while holidaying on a yacht in Miami. And with rumours mounting that the couple are hoping to make things giant-diamond-ring official soon, a source tells us that Scott’s ex, Kourtney Kardashian, is not exactly happy about it.
“Kourtney is doing her best to make this not happen. She swears it’s in Scott’s best interests and not because she’s still in love with him, but nobody’s buying it,” says our Kardashian insider.
“Kourt’s been panicking about this relationship since the beginning, saying it’ll end in tears and Sofia’s too young. She’s taken Scott aside and begged him to think twice before putting a ring on this girl’s finger, but he’s told her to back off and stop being bitter.”
Scott, 36, and Kourtney, 40, haven’t been an official couple for almost four years, but – as heat has previously reported – the pair are said to have been secretly hooking up even while Scott has been dating 21-year-old Sofia.
But after almost two years together, things seem pretty serious and the source says Kourtney is feeling threatened now.

The situation is also complicated by the fact Kourtney shares her three children – Mason, nine, Penelope, seven, and Reign, four – with Scott.
“Kourt says Sofia is hardly the ideal stepmum. The kids see her as an older friend type, not an adult figure, so there’s even an element of jealousy going on as well,” adds the source.
“Kourt hates the idea of them forging a close bond with Sofia if she becomes their stepmum, and she’s making it as difficult as possible for Scott to do this in a smooth way. If there’s anything she can do to block the proposal, she’ll do it."
