She told fans that she’d had “the hardest” few days, after being served the double blow of her baby daughter being rushed to hospital with a virus AND her partner Charles Drury announcing they had split. And things since then haven’t got any easier for Lauren Goodger, as she’s become embroiled in a bitter war of words with Charles.
According to insiders, the former TOWIE star is devastated by recent events and is worried about what the future has in store for her as a single mum…especially because it’s looking like it'll be a rocky road co-parenting with Charles in the future.
“Lauren’s been crying herself to sleep at night,” says an insider close to the 35 year old, who lashed out at Charles last week, after he told followers that their relationship was over while their four-month-old daughter Larose was ill in hospital (she’s since recovered from the virus and is recovering at home).

“She is worrying about how she will cope and can't imagine ever dating as a single mum. Her friends and family are rallying around her, but Lauren is terrified about the future and fears she’s going to be on her own forever. She feels as though Charles is just deserting her.”
Last week, Lauren did her best to put on a brave face, posting a photo of her and Larose and thanking fans for their support. She wrote, “We [are] home now and she is so much better! This is me and you now, my angel.”

But her insinuation that Charles was nowhere to be seen infuriated her ex, who hit back online, “Daddy has and always will be here for you when I’m allowed to be, my princess. I shouldn’t have to post things like this to show that I’ve been there for my daughter in and out of hospital…it’s being portrayed like I haven’t and some of the messages I’ve been getting are disgusting.” He then seemed to make a dig at Lauren, adding, “The only difference is I haven’t been posting it all up on Instagram.”
Lauren, we’re told, is reeling from Charles’s online outburst – and it’s only making her more insecure about the future. According to our source, “She’s extremely angry and upset, and will never get over how she’s been treated. But she's putting all her energies into her gorgeous girl.”
