Last week, Lily Collins said she’d “never been happier” after revealing she had tied the knot with filmmaker Charlie McDowell.
Sharing stunning images of the day on her Instagram, the 32-year-old actress wrote, “What started as a fairy tale is now my forever reality. I’ll never be able to properly describe how otherworldly this past weekend was, but magical is a pretty good place to start…”
The couple married at a hot springs retreat in Colorado, posing next to a waterfall in the outdoor venue for one of their romantic pictures. Lily wore a custom-made Ralph Lauren gown for the event, which also had a coordinating hooded veil – seen in one of the pictures.
The couple – who got engaged in September 2020 – revealed they married almost exactly a year after Charlie popped the question.

The wedding is a real merging of dynasties, as Emily In Paris star Lily is the daughter of musician Phil Collins, while Charlie is the son of Malcom McDowell and Mary Steenburgen. And their Hollywood status was evident from the A-listers who flocked to comment on their announcement.

But the best caption had to come from Charlie’s mum, star of films such as Elf and The Proposal. Mary wrote, “Charlie, my son, and Lily, my daughter-in-law!!! Thank you for letting us all bask in the sheer beauty of your love for each other. My heart is overflowing and it almost feels like the last few days were some sort of beautiful dream. But it is all real, and I feel like the luckiest mother in the world.”
