Some days the extent of our exercise is the walk from the sofa to the fridge and the bicep curls involved in lifting a glass of pinot grigio to our lips, but Mark Wright is a little more on the intense side – at least for his wife Michelle Keegan’s tastes.
An insider close to the reality star tells heat, “Mark is driving Michelle mad being at home 24/7. He’s got her doing way more exercise than she’s used to, insisting they do it together, and working out in the mornings and afternoon.”
The 33-year-old has been posting videos of multiple workouts on his Instagram page with the hashtag “TrainWright” and seems to have been whipping off his top to show off his abs at every opportunity. But, we’re told, Michelle, 32, would prefer to enjoy her time at home in a more relaxing manner.
“She wants every day to be more like a lazy Sunday, where she can watch films, catch up with friends and let herself go a bit with the healthy diet, but Mark doesn’t share her views,” says the source.

Mark recently spoke about how much he was enjoying being locked down with his wife of five years, saying that the couple had been doing a lot of cooking together. And, according to our insider, he loves them exercising together too.
“Mark loves doing ‘couple workouts’, but he won’t even leave Michelle be on a running machine,” we’re told. “He’s always telling her what to do, or in the next breath, he’ll be saying they should go on a bike ride. She appreciates he’s helping her but it’s all a bit much at times.”
While Mark says, “Michelle is a cracking chef,” it seems he’s muscled his way into the kitchen, too. “He’s been reading up on the best supplements to take and suggesting they change their diet,” we’re told. “Michelle jokes that she can’t wait for the lockdown
to finish, but she’s also said that, she’s really enjoying time with Mark, just the two of them. They get on really well and his family aren’t descending on them all the time! She loves his family to bits but it’s also nice to have a break.”
