Mary-Kate Olsen and Olivier Sarkozy are divorcing after five years of marriage, with Mary-Kate reportedly requesting an emergency order to allow her to file her divorce.
TMZ reports the designer - and twin sister of Ashley Olsen - signed a petition for a divorce last month, but due to coronavirus, was told by New York officials that her request could not be processed.
Coronavirus has also complicated things further. TMZ also claim to have obtained documents that show Olivier set May 18 as the deadline for Mary-Kate to move out of their New York City apartment. But because quarantine guidelines set in the city, Mary-Kate is trying to extend that to May 30. She reportedly says the only way she can protect her property is if she's to file a divorce petition.
