Love Island's Megan Barton Hanson may have just split from her villa boyfriend Wes Nelson earlier this month, but she's already looking to the future. The 24-year-old, who came fourth with Wes on last year's show, has spoken to new! magazine about what her romantic future could hold - and it turns out that she's not going to limit her future partner by gender.
Megan, who lived with Wes and shared pet hamster Jon Snow with him, revealed that she'd dated women in the past and would definitely consider dating a woman again - especially after her recent heartbreak.
She said, "I feel like I might be. After this broken heart I feel like, yeah. I’ve dated girls in the past. It’s not like I wouldn't do it."
When asked whether she thought bisexual women might feel uncomfortable discussing their sexuality in public, she agreed, "Yeah, I guess so, especially if they’re well known.
"I think more people who have this platform need to speak out to younger girls honestly, saying things like, ‘I’ve had a few sex partners, I’ve always practised safe sex. I appreciate women and men.’ The more we’re all open about it, then the less taboo it becomes."
