We first met her as a Champagne-quaffing 21-year-old, who was more likely to be nursing a hangover than a baby and stirring up drama on the mean streets of SW3. But Millie Mackintosh looked worlds away from her younger self last week, as she and husband Hugo Taylor brought their baby daughter home for the very first time, doting on the newborn and looking like total naturals at this whole parenting thing. The sighting came just hours after Hugo and Millie announced the birth of “our darling girl”, who had arrived “at 1.21pm, weighing a very healthy 7lbs”.
The day before, the former MIC star told her followers she was taking a temporary break from social media to focus on motherhood and thanked them for their “unwavering” support over the past nine months.

It’s certainly been a rollicking journey so far for Hugo, 33, and Millie, 30, who famously dated on series one of MIC, before splitting after Hugo cheated on her with co-star Rosie Fortescue. Millie then surprised us all by going against type and marrying rapper Professor Green in 2013, before separating two years later. He later accused her of using him to boost her public profile, saying in an interview, “I was at that point of my career, and it catapulted her into a position she wouldn’t have otherwise been in.” Still, the rapper’s comments barely fazed Millie, who quickly rekindled things with Hugo. The couple wed in June 2018, and announced they were expecting their first baby together last November.

Since then, Millie’s kept her fans updated with the highs and lows of pregnancy, confessing it hasn’t all been “smiling bump photos”. Last month, she candidly wrote, “It feels like a miracle. A miracle that comes with a side portion of crazy old symptoms, soaring hormone levels and physical and emotional challenges. My least favourite third trimester symptom has been carpal tunnel syndrome, which causes tingling, pain and swelling in my hands and wrists, which delightfully worsens at night.”
Still, despite the challenges, the reality star looked blissfully content as she and Hugo returned to their lockdown London pad last week with baby in tow. It may be a whole new world for the new parents, but they’ve had at least some experience in the past, having previously baby sat for Spencer Matthews and Vogue Williams’ one-year- old son Theodore. And with Vogue now expecting again, we have a feeling it’s only a matter of time before the fab four – and their brood – are ruling the King’s Road once again.
