As one of Meghan Markle’s close friends, it was thought that former Made In Chelsea star Millie Mackintosh would be a guest at the Royal Wedding which took place earlier this month. However, while other celebs including Victoria Beckham and Idris Elba were in attendance at the ceremony, Millie was nowhere to be seen and now the reason why might have been revealed.
It’s been reported that Harry didn’t want Millie at the wedding and asked Meghan to snub her from the guest list.
“He seemed to believe she was a blabbermouth and better off out of the loop,” a source told the Mail on Sunday.
“Harry doesn’t often tell Meghan what to do, but he put his foot down.”

Meghan and Millie are thought to have been friends since 2016 and were introduced just before the Suits actress started dating Harry.
Last year, Meghan shared a photo of the pair riding bikes on a girl’s trip to Soho Farmhouse in Oxfordshire on her now-deleted Instagram.
The picture was captioned: “The best afternoon with @milliemackintoshofficial – so proud of you, darling.”
It was previously reported that Millie was helping Meghan plan her nuptials and that she was even in the running to be a bridesmaid.
“Some very knowledgable people are saying she’s actually being considered as a bridesmaid,” a source told the Daily Mail at the time.
“While I would personally find that surprising, as members of the royal family tend to choose the children of their closest friends and relatives, Millie couldn’t have been more hands-on with helping Meghan organise the wedding so far."
Despite her close friendship with the bride, Millie is thought to have watched the Royal Wedding at home. A few days after the wedding, she posted a picture of Meghan and Harry on her Instagram alongside a heart emoji.
Millie is herself engaged to former Made In Chelsea co-star Hugo Taylor. The couple reunited after Millie’s divorce from rapper Professor Green in 2016 and Hugo proposed during a romantic trip to Greece.
