Molly-Mae Hague has opened up about her strained relationship with her neighbours, who she says “hate” her.

The Love Island star admitted she’s “scared to use the bins” at the luxury Cheshire home she shares with boyfriend Tommy Fury after becoming embroiled in a row with neighbours over recycling, which she likened to “world war three”.

Molly first spoke out about the feud when followers noticed a collection of cardboard boxes in the background of one of her Instagram stories while she was tidying her flat.

She then shared a closer look at the rubbish and wrote, “One weeks worth of cardboard. Our neighbours hate us (me) so we are too scared to use the bins here. Skip run it is. Hey neighbours if you see this story x.”

The 21-year-old then explained exactly what had happened between them after fans asked for the full story.

She continued, “Right excuse the fact that I look like a Stig of the Dump this morning but all of you want the juicy gossip on why the neighbours hate us so guess what I'm going to give it to you...

“It's going to be a massive let down by the way. Like it's a really boring story but here we go anyway. So, it's all to do with recycling! Told you. Yeah told you it was going to be a massive let down.

“Basically the neighbours are just very, very set in their ways here about how they like things recycled, there's about 175,000 different bins for each different material that you have to adhere to otherwise it's literally world war three and when I mean world war three, I mean world war three.”

They had the first ever Love Island baby, but these two split not long after the birth.

Molly then revealed she and Tommy had been subjected to neighbours “running up to us is the car park shouting at us”, “letters shoved under our door” and “strongly worded emails” in the first three months of them living in their flat.

“They kind of would rather we weren't here, but yeah I think we just need to get a little bit better at recycling and hopefully, hopefully it'll pass, I don't think it will,” she added.

“Yeah but this place isn't a permanent home for us, I think this has made us realise why we want to live by ourselves, it's so hard to keep neighbours happy all the time.”

Love Island's Laura Anderson hits back over 'unrecognisable' jibes

This all comes after Molly captured the moment strangers hurled abuse at her in the street while she was filming a YouTube video.

The reality star and influencer was filming herself on a solo shopping spree around Manchester for her A Week With Me YouTube video when she admitted her “confidence was gone” and she was “too embarrassed” to vlog in public any more.

Molly stopped filming until she managed to find a more secluded spot to pick up where she left off, but it wasn’t long before a group of strangers began “heckling” her after recognising her from Love Island.

Speaking into the camera, she said, “Okay guys, there are some men heckling me now. This is why I can't vlog in public guys, listen to this…”

The men could be heard repeatedly calling her name and shouting “blondie” and “oi”, while Molly says, “I'm just going to ignore it, just ignore it. It's fine.” She then retreated to the privacy of a car and revealed that the abuse was even worse than what was caught on camera.
