Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger and rugby player Thom Evans may have only just gone red carpet official, but there's been rumours swirling around that the pair were dating ever since Nicole and Thom featured on X Factor: Celebrity.
But now it's been claimed Thom tried to pursue the American singer six years ago, despite the TV judge being in a relationship with Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton.
The Sun reports Thom first made a move on Nicole at the 2014 Global Gift Gala fundraiser in London but the star quickly shut him down.
It was around the time Nicole was in an on/off relationship with Lewis and she allegedly only wanted to talk about the relationship.
However, he reportedly carried on "lusting over her on social media", before meeting her on The X Factor when he took part in the competition alongside his rugby pals Ben Foden and Levi Dallas in the band Try Star.

The source continued, “In the end, she couldn’t resist Thom’s charms, despite the fact that she was meant to be judging him.”
The duo confirmed their romance earlier this week when they walked the red carpet at a Golden Globe After-Party in Beverly Hills.
The couple looked stunning as they wowed photographers with their model looks and they even went Instagram official.
Both their reps have been contacted for comment.
