It turns out the lockdown blues can creep even if you’re an A-list popstar, as Little Mix’s Perrie Edwards has admitted she’s struggling to get motivated amid the third national lockdown.

The 27-year-old opened up in a candid Instagram post as she told fans she misses performing on stage and is “feeling like utter sh-t”.

The Sweet Melody singer also confessed, “All I do is eat.”

RELATABLE.

Perrie spoke out on her Instagram stories as she wrote, “Feeling like utter sh-t wishing I had @DaniellePeazer to come and drag me out of bed on a morning.

“All I do is eat atm. I wanna get back on it but I cantttttttttt. I have zero motivation!

“I miss working out with Danielle and Ellie.”

“I miss dancing. I miss being on stage. I miss the fans. F--k sakes man,” she added.

The Little Mix anthem was directed at ex-One Direction lad Zayn Malik, who Perrie was engaged to, before he apparently dumped her by text. Lines like 'hope she ain't fakin' it like she did, babe!' are thought to be directed at his current flame/supermodel Gigi Hadid. The plot thickens...

Perrie’s post comes after she revealed she was working on her first solo project after bandmate Jesy Nelson quit Little Mix last month.

Perrie has updated her Instagram bio to remove any mention of the band, although she included a link to a website for her mysterious new venture Disora.

Details are being kept under wraps for now as a message on the website simply reads, “Coming soon… 2021.”

The remaining members of Little Mix are all rumoured to be working on solo projects in the wake of Jesy’s departure, although they have vowed to continue as a trio for “a long time” – with a tour scheduled to take place later this year.

Jesy released a statement in December announcing she was leaving Little Mix as being in the band had “taken a toll on [her] mental health”.

She explained, “I find the constant pressure of being in a girl group and living up to expectations very hard.

“There comes a time in life when we need to reinvest in taking care of ourselves rather than focusing on making other people happy, and I feel like now is the time to begin that process.

“So, after much consideration and with a heavy heart, I'm announcing I'm leaving Little Mix. I need to spend some time with the people I love, doing things that make me happy."
