For two people who upended their lives and quit the royal family to get more privacy, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry sure do love causing a publicity sh-tstorm. The couple sent the internet into a tailspin this week, when they were spotted visiting Oprah Winfrey, sparking rumours that a new tell-all interview is in the works…

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were photographed arriving at the talkshow host’s $100million mansion on Saturday, driving into the gated, 70-acre Montecito property in their black Range Rover.

It led to a slew of comments, with many horrified by the possibility of Harry, 37, and Meghan, 40, doing yet another interview about the prince’s relations. One commentator pleaded, “Oh NO, please NOT! What the heck have they got left to say???”

A second said, “Even Oprah came out badly from the last interview.”

While a third added furiously, “Desperately trying to stay in the limelight. I used to feel sorry for Harry but he's truly part of this shameful circus! He claimed they wanted to be out of the spotlight and live their lives peacefully and quietly – so why don't they both go away and just do that… Shame on Oprah too for giving them the platform to do so.”

The pictures come a year after the couple – who married in 2018 and are parents to Archie, three, and Lillibet, one – grabbed headlines worldwide with their now-infamous sit-down chat back in March 2021. At the time, they shocked fans – and Oprah herself – with claims that a royal had asked about Archie's skin tone.

The pair also said they’d been cut off financially by Harry’s dad, Prince Charles, and left to pay for their own security. Former Suits actress Meghan also revealed how Kate Middleton had made her cry, adding that she was offered no help with her mental health during her time as a royal.

It led to Prince William declaring, “We are not a racist family,” while the Queen said in a statement that “recollections may vary.”

Understandably, there were awkward scenes at the recent Platinum Jubilee, as royals avoided the rogue couple – so just imagine the fallout if they did it all over again…
