Fans were heartbroken for Rylan Clark-Neal when he announced he had split from his husband Dan back in June. At the time, he admitted, “I have made a number of mistakes, which I deeply regret and have inevitably led to the breakdown of our marriage.”
But, all hope may not be lost as reports last week suggested that Dan had returned to their marital home.
“Rylan is still devastated by the end of his marriage and he’s still holding out that he and Dan can work things out,” an insider tells heat.
“He knows he’s got to make some changes and they’ve had some very honest conversations.”
Dan and 32-year-old Rylan met in 2013 on Big Brother, which Dan was competing in. They got married in 2015, but things seemed to fall apart this summer. Rylan then released a statement telling fans he was taking time off work, after it was revealed that he and Dan had spilt.

“Because Rylan is so busy with work, he loved the stability that Dan gave him and the family life they had together with Cameron, and he misses that so much. They’re slowly working on things and being as open as possible in the hope they can salvage their marriage,” says the source.
“But if they can’t, they are determined to remain friends as neither wants to lose each other. Rylan is due back at work on Strictly: It Takes Two soon, but he’s being careful not to take too much on or rush back as Dan is his priority right now.”
