Now the Spice Girls have announced their 2019 stadium tour (minus Posh Spice Victoria Beckham, who's gracefully bowed out) we're dusting off the old Buffalo boots and spontaneously shouting 'SPICE UP YOUR LIFE' at innocent passers-by. We can't help it. It's a Spice World, and we just happen to live in it.

So how much do we really know about Geri Horner, Emma Bunton, Melanie C and Melanie B? 1. They were originally called Touch

When the girls first got together, they were called Touch. It wasn't until Geri thought to change their name to Spice that the band eventually agreed on Spice Girls.
