As any parent with young kids will tell you, nothing is more important than getting a good night’s sleep – or just any kind of sleep really. And for Stacey Solomon and husband Joe Swash, that means going to bed in separate rooms in order to get the little ones to actually stay put.

In a recent episode of Celebrity Gogglebox, Joe, 42, admitted, “We used to have pillow talk, didn’t we?” To which Stacey, 34, responded, “We used to sleep in bed together, do you remember that? Before we had three kids in four years!”

Joe then mimicked Stacey, joking, “I’ll go in Rex’s bed with the baby, all right?” To which the influencer and presenter replied, “It’s what happens, innit babe?”

As well as Stacey’s two eldest sons Zachary, 16, and Leighton, 12, from previous relationships, the pair have also welcomed son Rex, five, and daughters Rose, two, and one-year-old Belle. The ultimate blended family, the seven of them now all live together in their dream home, Pickle Cottage in Essex, with visits from Joe’s 17-year-old son Harry, too.

And Joe better be careful that Stacey doesn’t put a more permanent plan in place, as back in April, she joked that she was planning on splitting their bedroom in half after developing a talent for building stud walls on her TV show Renovation Rescue.

She joked, “Joe keeps calling me Donald Trump and saying that I’m going around building walls. But once I know how to do this, trust me – I’m going to split our bedroom in half!”

Although Stacey has said that she’ll never say never to a sixth child, her current sleeping arrangements suggest it won’t be for a while…
