It’s no secret that Stacey Solomon is a business-savvy lady. She’s said to be worth £5million, thanks to her presenting career, personal brands and business ventures, and when she launched her new “baby” last week – her own monthly newsletter – it was so popular that the website crashed.
And according to an insider, half a million people signing up for Stacey’s bulletin before it even launched is a sign of things to come.
“Stacey’s been overwhelmed by the response to her newsletter,” we’re told.
“She really wasn’t expecting that – she’s so grateful to all her followers who are supporting her. It’s proved that she was right to do this and it’s just the first of many new ventures to come, which she could potentially make millions from.”
Stacey knows that when she speaks, her fans listen and they only seem to want more – especially after she promised the first 1,000 people who signed up to the newsletter a free bottle of hair oil from her brand REHAB – told you she was savvy. She later had to apologise on Instagram for the link crashing, saying, “I underestimated how many of you might want to sign up to the newsletter. I’m working as hard as I can to get it sorted.”
The monthly missive will not only help the star connect with her fans more, it could also help be a sounding board for new ideas – including another writing project. With a memoir, advice book and two Tap To Tidy home guides already under her belt, our insider says anything is possible.
“Stacey found writing the newsletter quite therapeutic and loved having the space to open up more than she could on Instagram. She also wants to get back to writing books,” says our source.
“She’s done it before, but that was years ago, and she has so much more life experience now that she can write fiction books and is also considering a line of children’s fiction.”
The mum of five has created a strong personal brand, amassing an incredible 5.9million followers on Instagram over the years, and it seems everything she touches turns to gold. Stacey thinks 2024 will be her year and we’re told, “She’s going to do whatever she wants and not worry about what people think. She knows advertisers will be desperate to work with her on this newsletter if it goes well, so she’s determined to make the most of the opportunity.
“All she wants to do is to provide her children with a secure future.”
