We love a lady who’s willing to make some noise in a killer outfit – so we have to give it up for Victoria Beckham, who squeaked her way through Paris Fashion Week last week in a skin-tight pair of red PVC pants.
Taking her cue from Britney circa Oops, I Did It Again, and Ross Geller in his leather trousers phase, Posh brought the red- hot heat to Paris with aplomb, reminding us all that she can still deliver the spice. And she wasn’t alone – she blazed into town with her second eldest son, Romeo, 19, and his model girlfriend Mia Regan, also 19, in tow. And, needless to say, the trio made a big impression.

Louise and Jamie Redknapp
They were the British A-list couple that we thought would last but the world was stunned in July 2017 when Louise and Jamie Redknapp confirmed they'd split after 19 years together. Months later Louise opened up about the end of her marriage and following the end of the Redknapp marriage, it was reported that celebrities were refusing to sign up to the BBC show because of the Strictly curse.
By all accounts, it was a welcome return to the Frow for Vic, who’s been spending more time focusing on her make-up line recently. Posting on Instagram, the designer was clearly feeling like she was back to her sartorial best as she shared backstage clips of herself rocking her red-hot pants – £440 from her latest collection – telling fans, “The squeaky pants are back! And this time in red.”
Last December, she rocked a black version of the same VB trousers for date night, hashtagging a saucy pic (right), “#sexpants” alongside the caption, “Domestic goddesses wear plastic pants!” What can we say? PVC really brings out Posh’s cheeky side. It’s a shame that David was all the way back in London with their ten-year-old daughter Harper.
While she may have been promoting her own label last week, Vic was also in Paris to check out the competition, and judging by her reaction to the Saint-Laurent Womenswear A/W22 show, she fully appreciated the goods on offer.
Heaping praise on the brand, she said the spectacle, “Reminded me why I fell in love with fashion,” before telling Saint-Laurent’s artistic director Anthony Vaccarello, “You made me dream again.” Romeo, who’s currently following in his footballer dad’s footsteps, echoed his mum’s sentiments, telling his followers that the show had been “amazing”.
As for the rest of their brief trip, Posh, 47, kept things slightly more subtle, stepping out in a long black shirt dress, while giving her red stilettoes another airing. But hopefully, we’ll get to see more of cheeky Posh.
So, next time you hear a squeak in the distance, keep your eyes peeled. Maybe it’s a mouse, maybe it’s a bird, or maybe it’s Posh Spice strutting around in a pair of PVC pants.
