Dalton Harris - winner of The X Factor 2018 and all-round DREAMBOAT - reckons he 'blacked out' after Dermot O'Leary announced his name and woke up in mentor Louis Tomlinson's dressing room.
Speaking to heat Radio's Emily Segal about how he reacted to the win on Big Night In, Dalton said: "Good question. I blacked out; I’m being honest. I blacked out. Anthony was third and he did his roll thing. I was like ‘cool.’ Then I heard ‘and the winner is…Dalton.’ Then my ears stopped working and [my face] was on fire and I don’t remember anything.
"I remember faces and [I woke up in] Louis’ dressing room. James Arthur gave me this [brooch], then I had to leave to go to the hotel. I went and said 'thank you,' then I met my adopted dad and friends that had come. Then I went to bed."
"I don’t know. For the past three or for years I haven’t really been able to do Christmas as I’ve always been working; and I think this year’s probably going to be no different."
