The X Factor's Scarlett Lee has revealed that she's now ENGAGED after her boyfriend Nathan Shaw proposed over the weekend. The 21-year-old, who came second to Dalton Harris in The X Factor last year, posted on Twitter and Instagram to reveal that boyfriend Nathan had proposed in a cemetery graveyard - and opened up about the heartbreaking reason why.
Taking to Instagram, Scarlett shared a video of the moment alongside the caption, 'He asked I Said YESSS! 💍 For what God Has Joined Together Let No One Separate! There’s no other place I would rather of done this, my granny and grandad are my whole world and I’ve been so sad they weren’t here to see me on the x factor but he made this so special I’m so happy I love Nathan future MRS SHAW💍💍❤️❤️❤️.' [sic]
In the video, Scarlett and Nathan initially look as though they're posing for a photo next to the gravestones of Scarlett's grandparents, but Nathan quickly gets down on one knee to an absolutely stunned Scarlett, who initially thinks he's joking.
As she realises he's being serious, Scarlett becomes emotional and teary, before saying yes and sharing a kiss with her new fiancée.
