Zac Efron is widely-regarded as one of the most attractive men in Hollywood. It's an accepted fact of life. He’s also got a lot of other boyfriend qualities too; he loves long hikes in the mountains, he really cares about the environment (he made his own Netflix series Down To Earth with Zac Efron in 2020), he’s close to his family and despite being one of the most famous men on the planet, he’s super down to earth.
The actor has won the affections of women all over the world and his dating history is extremely colourful – but will the High School Musical actor finally settle down and find his Gabriella?
With Zac preparing to enter summer 2021 as a single man since splitting from Vanessa Valladares after a whirlwind lockdown romance, here’s an extensive reminder of all of Zac Efron’s girlfriends.

Vanessa Hudgens (2005-2010)
Zac's first relationship was definitely his most serious and longest to date. In case you weren't aware, Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens dated for 5 years back in the early 2000s after meeting on the set of High School Musical. Yep, Troy and Gabriella were the REAL DEAL. They pair dated for five years before ending it all in 2010. Vanessa recently broke all our hearts when she admitted she had 'lost contact' with Zac, telling The Hollywood Reporter Awards Chatter Podcast, "We kinda blew up. It was this massive phenomenon all of a sudden and all eyes were on me. "And it's just a really weird foreign thing to go through, and by being in a relationship, I feel like it kind of kept me stabilised and grounded, and I had someone to lean on who was going through it as well."
Lily Collins (2012-2013)
Lily and Zac reunited in 2019 to star in Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile, where Zac plays infamous serial killer Ted Bundy. But the pair actually dated quietly between 2012 and 2013 and were even spotted holding hands during a date to Disneyland.
Sami Miró (2014-2016)
Zac's relationship with model Sami was a serious one and they were not shy in hiding their relationship from the world. From cute couple selfies to paparazzi shots, the pair really looked in love and dated for two years. They broke up in 2016, and Zac deleted all of his pics with Sami off his Instagram and unfollowed her.
Alexandra Daddario (2017)
Zac was rumoured to be dating his Baywatch costar Alexandra Daddario back in 2017 - they sure made a PHWOAR couple. Alongside getting close in the film, the pair posted snaps of each other on Instagram throughout filming.
Rebecca Ferguson (2017)
During the filming of The Greatest Showman, Zac and fellow actress Rebecca fuelled rumours that they could be dating after he posted this super cosy picture with her on set.
Halston Sage (2014 and 2019)
These two were rumoured to be dating way back in 2014 with Halston supporting Zac after a stint in rehab. He told Access Hollywood at the time, "She's really sweet. She's a sweetheart."Dating rumours swirled up again in 2019, with US Weekly reporting in January 2020 that the two "are in a serious relationship and in love. They spent the holidays together, with part of that time in Santa Barbara."
Sarah Bro (2019)
In 2018, rumours swirled that Zac was dating Danish swimmer Sarah after they were spotted at a UFC fight in Las Vegas together. According to sources, the pair looked very cosy, but Zac being Zac, he's never addressed the rumours that they could have been more than pals.
Vanessa Valladares (June 2020 – April 2021)
Zac is reportedly single after ending things with his former girlfriend, Australian model Vanessa Valladares after ten months together. The pair reportedly spent the summer of 2020 together in Australia after meeting at a café in Byron Bay where she worked. The reason for the split is still unclear with Zac and Vanessa never addressing what went on between them, but sources have hinted that distance got in the way as Zac prepared to jet off to Canada to shoot his latest film Gold. A source told The Sun, "Zac and Vanessa looked like the real deal. They were besotted with each other. "So once he decided to stay in Australia long term, he suggested they buy their first home."They'd started to look at a few places but, sadly, fate wasn't on their side. Zac's work and the ¬¬enforced distance has really taken its toll."

Remember Love is Blind? There's a brand new reunion coming to Netflix 👀
Although Zac has remained coy about his love life throughout the years, he has opened up about the fact that his level of fame makes it almost impossible for him to meet and date women.
In 2016, he told The Sunday Times, “Dating is something I’ll never be able to do,” he said glumly, per the outlet. “As in the dictionary definition of dating, because one way or another I’ve impacted that person’s life and they’ll soon realise it."
He also admitted to joining dating app Tinder, but not having any luck at all.
“Amazingly, when I signed up for Tinder, nobody swiped me! They thought it was fake," then he paused. "That never happened. Aha-ha." Anyway, Sage was officially out of the picture at that point.
