ITV's second stab at Celebrity Big Brother kicked off with a ceremonious bang last night (Monday 7 April), seeing the likes of Love Island's Chris Hughes, Hollywood A-lister Mickey Rourke, self-proclaimed 'CEO of gay pop' JoJo Siwa and national treasure Trisha Goddard step foot inside telly's most famous house for three weeks of utter mayhem.
Now we'll be honest, Celebrity Big Brother launch nights never really do it for us here at heatworld – maybe it's our TikTok attention spans, but spending 90 minutes gawking at celebs we already know are going into the Big Brother house just doesn't do it for us these days.
But luckily, on this occasion we did tune in or we would've missed the potential beginnings of what could be a major storyline this season... at least if fans get their way.
From the moment Love Island 2017 finalist Chris and TOWIE star Ella Rae Wise's names were chucked into the rumour mill for CBB 2025, some fans have been manifesting a BB love story.
It makes sense, to be fair; they're both major reality telly stars, they're both stupidly good looking and knowing their exes as we do, they're both definitely each other's types on paper.
There is, however, the small matter of Ella Rae Wise currently dating her co-star Dan Edgar, but Ella confirmed their romance is no more just before she stepped foot in the house. And, anyway, given CBB's history for forbidden romances, well, let's just say nothing would surprise us at this point...
And according to some fans, they've clocked a spark between the pair already – and we have to say, we think we did too.
Moments after Ella made her entrance into the CBB house, fans reckon they saw Chris's eyes 'lit up' upon clocking the TOWIE star.
One viewer took to Instagram to comment, 'Chris's eyes lit up,' while another added, 'I noticed that as well... his face was a picture,' with a third writing, 'Eyes almost popped out of his head didn't they?'
Interestingly, one of Ella's TOWIE co-stars, Saffron Lempriere, has already admitted that she reckons Chris will fancy Ella.
Last week, Saffron told the The Sun, '[Ella]'s very strong with Dan. Who knows, it changes quick.
'I think Chris will fancy Ella. But Ella is a loyal girl.'
She continued, 'I don’t even know where Ella and Dan are - I’ve not spoken to them for a few weeks as filming ended three weeks ago and I've moved homes. But I reckon Chris will definitely fancy Ella.'
Oh, this is gonna be good.
