If you watched last year’s series of Big Brother then you’ll undoubtedly remember the icon that is Lily Benson. As well as forming a firm friendship with eventual winner Ali Bromley, Lily won a huge legion of fans on Big Brother 2024, although she did rub her housemates up the wrong way at times.
Emma Morgan was someone who was particularly vocal about how much Lily’s screaming and untidiness got on her nerves during their time in the house and some fans have speculated that the pair could be feuding since the show ended after a number of comments made on social media.
The fire was only fuelled during last night’s (Monday 7 April) Celebrity Big Brother 2025 live launch when Emma and Lily appeared on Late & Live alongside Nathan King and Dean Quinton.

When Emma advised that this year’s celeb housemates should ‘listen to people’ and ‘not just make a noise’, some viewers took this to be a dig at Lily, with one writing on X, ‘Not Emma talking about being friendly and immediately having a dog at Lily pls give it a rest.’
However, Emma has clapped back at the ‘trolls’ in a new Instagram post and insisted there’s no ‘beef’ between herself and Lily.
‘For months now there’s been alot of speculation as to whether or not me n Lily are friends. Trolls fuelled a divide that should NEVER have been the case,’ she wrote alongside pictures of the two taken at Late & Live.
‘Lily and I have NEVER had a cross word, inside or outside of the house. The ONLY beef came from keyboard warriors with too much time on their hands and not enough grey matter in their heads.’
Emma added, ‘What a shame that for so long this has been going on. Hopefully now you can all shut your traps. Enough is enough.’

Since leaving the house back in November, Lily has remained besties with Ali and is still close to Daze Aghaji, Martha Church and Dean.
Emma is often seen hanging out with her Nathan as well as Marcello Spooks and Sarah Griffiths.
