We'll be honest, the moment we heard whisperings that Big Brother bosses had signed up Chris Hughes for Celebrity Big Brother 2025, we felt our eyes transform into the eye roll emoji and stare directly in Love Island legend Olivia Attwood's direction (that really happened – she pops into our office from time to time).
The former couple made it to the final of Love Island 2017 and dated for several months IRL before calling it quits. And while things are seemingly amicable between the former Islanders (Liv's moved on and married now), we just knew the wonderfully outspoken Olivia would have one or two things to say about her ex, Chris, rocking up in the CBB house.
Fast forward a few weeks and we are several days into the current series of Celebrity Big Brother and Liv's Love Island ex is growing extremely close to American pop sensation Jojo Siwa and their touchy-feely friendship, secret messages to one another and even a raspberry or two are getting tongues seriously wagging on social media.
Just what the heck is going on here?
Naturally, Liv has characteristically spoken out about the surprising friendship and we are obsessed with her honesty.
Speaking on KISS Breakfast, Liv shared her unfiltered thoughts on how Chris is doing in the CBB house...
While the TV presenter revealed that she wasn't watching the hit ITV show live thanks to her early morning starts, she was 'consuming the show via TikTok' She added, 'I'm getting tagged in thousands because obviously Chris and I used to date - we're going back like six or seven years but we did.'
Talking about Chris and Jojo's newfound friendship, Liv admitted that the 'clips look like there could be something there'.
She continued, 'I guess it's how you interpret it. The internet is going two ways – the internet is going that there’s something there, there might be feelings from one side or the other. The other side of the internet is asking is Chris playing the game - she has a lot of followers, she’s very famous…'

In tonight's episode, Big Brother will gather the Housemates in the living room to expose Chris and JoJo's bedtime rule-break.
Big Brother says, 'This is Big Brother. Before you entered the house, the rules regarding attempting to communicate in code or write messages were clearly explained to you.'
Big Brother adds, 'Today, that rule was broken. At 1:59am in the bedroom, JoJo wrote messages on Chris’ hand in secret. Chris gave JoJo his hand and said, "you can write it out". JoJo then wrote on Chris’ hand and said "It makes sense, think about it".'
Big Brother says, 'Chris and JoJo, stand up.'
JoJo says, 'I solemnly swear, put my hand on a bible, it had nothing to do with nominations.'
Big Brother says, 'Chris, JoJo, you have broken a fundamental rule of the Big Brother house and you will be punished. You have communicated in secret so from now on your conversations will be anything but…'
Big Brother adds, 'JoJo, Chris, until further notice you are only permitted to speak through a megaphone for all to hear.'
Obsessed.
