If you’re watching this year’s Big Brother, you’d be forgiven for thinking that you’ve accidentally tuned into Love Island at times.
There’s the blossoming romance between Baked Potato (aka Rosie Williams) and Nathan King, Lily Benson is desperate to kiss, well, anybody, and then there’s Marcello Spooks, who could probably flirt with a brick wall.
Amongst all that, we’re also definitely picking up vibes between Segun Shodipo and Hanah Haji. They’ve been spending a lot of time together and Segun recently admitted in the Diary Room that Hanah is his type, although he also revealed that someone in the outside world ‘had his heart’.
We recently caught up with Big Brother 2024’s latest evictee Izaaz Miah for a post-dumping discussion and as someone who’s been living with Segun and Hanah for the past three weeks, we had to get his opinion on their potential romance.
Izaaz exclusively told heat that it could be ‘weird’ if Segun and Hanah end up getting together as they can’t stop family zoning one another.
‘Everyone started saying that there’s a bit of a romance they can see, however I find it weird because they keep calling themselves brother and sister. If that did end up turning into something, it would be a bit of a weird one,’ he explained.
But that’s not the only potential stumbling block as, of course, Segun was seeing someone before he went into the house.
Izaaz said, ‘He told me in the house that he’s got someone on the outside so if I was the girl on the outside and seeing all this, I’d be like, “Oh God, what’s going on?”
'I do think he’s very true to her and I wouldn’t want him to ruin something on the outside with a girl he probably really likes.'
He added, ‘It’s a hard one. I can’t see it happening [with Hanah] because I do think they are close and they are being this whole brother and sister vibe. If it blooms, it blooms, but it would be really weird to call each other brother and sister while doing it.’
