Love Island is dominating our summer telly schedules once again, with the Love Island 2025 drama taking over our screens, minds and lives.
But that doesn’t mean we’ve forgotten about last year’s cast and one 2024 Islander is back in the headlines again amid rumours he’s got a new girlfriend.
Ayo Odukoya split from his villa bae Jessica Spencer last year and he’s seemingly now loved up with someone new.
Eagle-eyed fans have suggested that Ayo is dating Alicia Scholes, the daughter of Manchester United legend Paul Scholes, after they appeared to soft launch their romance on Instagram.
In one of Alicia’s posts, the back of a man’s head can be seen, while another shows her holding hands with man who’s wearing a black hoodie. Her followers were quick to point out that Ayo has an identical hoodie.
Still, neither Ayo nor Alicia have confirmed they’re dating. heatworld has contacted their representatives for comment.
Her dad may be an iconic footballer, but Alicia has her own sporting accolades. As well as playing for London Pulse in the Netball Super League, the 24 year old has also represented England at an international level.
Alicia is also a personal trainer at a gym she co-owns with her dad and brother.
Back in 2021, Alicia and her dad went viral when she uploaded an Instagram video which appeared to show Paul chewing his daughter’s toenails. The clip was posted with the caption, ‘True love’.
Ayo has been single since splitting from fellow Islander Jess in October. Jess, who is now dating Braydon Hackett, the cousin of TOWIE star Roman Hackett, broke the news on social media at the time when she posted a video of her outfit and one of her followers commented, ‘Girl he needs to ask you [to be his girlfriend] yesterday.’
She replied, '"Girl" says who??? The internet?? He doesn't need to ask me anything because we're not together.’
