The second season of Love Island All Stars is well and truly underway and we're tuning in every night at 9 pm to see the next instalment of drama, romance and returning bombshells. The islanders were transported to Vegas as they experienced a night of gambling and challenges. Before the islanders partied the night away, two of Boots' Beauty Specialists headed into the villa to get the girls looking super glam. Luckily, we got to speak to Leanna Zaman and Lily Sweeting who gave us the inside scoop from the villa and revealed to us here at heatworld the exact products they used on the girls, the beauty products the islanders love and use every day.
We had a bunch of questions to ask the girls after their visit to the South African villa so let's get straight to it.
What top products are the islanders loving, using and requesting?
"It seems Made by Mitchell is a big hit in the villa with the girls!". I used the Curve Case, £30 and the Oui Cherie Setting Mist, £12, on Kaz and she really loved how it sat on her skin and the smell of it! I’m sure she’ll pick one up once she’s out of the villa. It was amazing to see the new No7 Pro Artist Collection in the villa including the already iconic No7 Pro Artist Soft Glow Cream Bronzer, £19.95. This was definitely a fan favourite for the girls!"
How do the girls look so flawless in the heat?
“The Beauty Crop Oui Cherie Gripping Primer, £10 is definitely a favourite with the girls, it is the perfect affordable primer to keep your base in place in the heat. The girls were obsessed with the The Beauty Crop Oui Cherie Setting Mist, £12 to lock in their makeup. After applying on Elma she fell even more in love when she found out it included hyaluronic acid too to keep their skin hydrated. These two products couple up perfectly - the perfect match!”
What products the girls love outside the villa and if they continued to use them in the villa?
“It has to be a Benefit Cosmetics brow product; I saw a lot of them in the villa. A big hit product with the girls was the Benefit 24 Hour Brow Gel, £26 and Benefit Precisely My Brow Pencil, £22.50. I always thought that all the girls had lovely brows but now I know exactly why."
"Lip products are also a big hit. Ekin-Su revealed she is a huge fan of the LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask Berry. £21 outside of the villa, and it seems to be one of her most loved beauty staples inside the villa too - proving it’s perfect for both cold and hot weather alike."
What other products did the girls rave about?
"The Milk Cream Bronzer, £22 was also a fan favourite; with its super creamy texture and gorgeous pigment, it is the perfect product for a sun-kissed glow and melts into the skin beautifully.
The girls love a gloss and from the amount of Fenty Gloss Bombs around I’d definitely say it’s a fan favourite with them.
It looks like MAC Lip Liners are a big hit with the girls. The formula is so creamy and is the perfect finishing touch to a glam look! Leanna and I applied the lip liners to both Harriet and Ekin-Su in shades Spice and Cork - Twinning!”
What were the go-to looks for the islanders and their must-have products during their time on the show?
"Think long, luscious lashes, the Islanders swear by the Benefit Badgal Bang! - Volumising Mascara, £27for serious volume and staying power, even by the pool.
Catherine loved a darker smokey eye which compliments her very well and really suits her eye shape.
Gabby likes a softer base and opted for lighter coverage foundation as we were applying, she has lovely skin, so a thinner coverage works perfect for the looks she has been doing.
Grace loves a glowy, natural base! I just knew the Fenty Beauty Soft Lit foundation, £34 would be perfect for her! It is the perfect buildable foundation and gives the most even application."
