Lockdown really has pushed people to opposite ends of the lifestyle spectrum.
Some people (hopefully it’s not just us) have really been, er, prioritising the economy and living off takeaways. NO REGRETS.
Others, like Love Island voiceover extraordinaire Iain Stirling, have started to overhaul their unhealthy lifestyle and used lockdown to become super fit.
Speaking to Vicky Pattison on her The Secret To podcast, Iain claimed he needed to switch up his 'dangerously unhealthy' lifestyle; and lost almost two stone in the process.
He said, “I have lost one stone and 9lbs. I was 15st 9lbs last time I weighed myself, which was a while ago when I was on tour. Now I am 14 stone dead.”
Apparently, the secret to the Love Island narrator’s weight loss was the closure of pubs at the start of the pandemic; meaning that he wasn’t able to drink draft lager.
Iain also admitted that his lifestyle was ‘dangerously unhealthy’ before we went into lockdown, thanks largely to his job as a stand-up comedian.
He said, “Especially with gigging you go to places where there is just beer available. I would always have a couple and you are on the road so it’s takeaway food and service stations. Being at home I have cooked more.”

Despite Siânnise struggling at the start thanks to her love rival Rebecca Gormley, Luke did eventually couple up with Siânnise and they remained together the whole time. They spent coronavirus lockdown in Luton with Luke's fam and have recently moved into a flat in the capital. They've even bought a puppy together.

Callum broke the heart of fan favourite Shaughna Phillips when he returned to the main villa from Casa Amor with Molly. But the new couple turned out to be super sweet.Back in the UK, they are still going strong and, in November 2020, the pair moved in together.

The nation WASN'T pleased when Nas returned from Casa Amor with Eva, leaving Demi single, and the couple were the next to be booted. Despite spending lockdown apart, they met up (at a safe distance!) throughout the pandemic and have gone official with their relationship. From the looks of it, the pair have even moved in together.

Apparently, Iain and fiancée Laura Whitmore have been missing the pub so much that they’ve built one in their back garden.
Naming their pub The Snug, Laura shared a snap of their construction which boasts a bar and outdoor smoking area, complete with deckchairs.
And their new garden addition has come just in time for their household’s celebrations, as not only has Laura revealed when the next series of Love Island will air, she’s also set to begin filming Celebrity Juice alongside Emily Atack and Keith Lemon this month.
Calls for a party, no? With a six guest limit, obviously.
