Despite making it all the way to the final week of the ITV2 dating show with girlfriend Liberty Poole (before their dramatic split and subsequent exit, that is), viewers were left surprised after Jake Cornish failed to make an appearance at the Love Island reunion last night.
At the start of the show, host Laura Whitmore revealed that Jake wouldnât be joining them saying, âSo, sadly Jake canât be with us this evening as he isnât feeling very well. But get well soon and sending you lots of love.â
Despite Lauraâs claims, fans are convinced that Jake had ulterior motives for his no show and took to Twitter to voice them with one saying, âLool Jake we know you ainât sick,â while another said, âJake didnât want to face the music!!!â

During the early stages of Love Island 2019, Ofcom received 600 complaints over Joe Garratt and Lucie Donlan's relationship. Viewers accused him of having a "controlling nature" when Lucie was left in tears and Women's Aid issued a statement about the show.

Whilst Jake and Libertyâs relationship is over, with no hope of a reconciliation anytime soon, Liam Reardon and Millie Courtâs relationship seems to be going from strength to strength with the two planning to move in together.
In a recent interview, Millie admitted that they changed their minds about living with their fellow Love Islanders and wanted to spend time together saying, âI think that would be a bit of a mad house! When youâre in the villa, everyoneâs like yeah letâs all move in, girls, boys..."
Liam added, âThat was the plan. Now weâve come out and weâve [Millie and I] spent five days apart, and I know itâs only five days, but you realise that you donât want to be apart.
âI think weâre going to be so busy with work that we want to have our own home to go back to together."
We may have had our doubts about Liam and Millie but we canât deny that theyâre super cute together.
