We can honestly say if you’re not watching Aftersun after Love Island on Sunday evenings, you’re only getting half the story. We get it; we LOVE Love Island too, but it is a commitment. Every evening for six to eight weeks twice a year. It’s a lot. In fact, we’re suddenly realising that this TV show is the most stable relationship in our lives. S**t.
Anyway, do try and commit to an extra hour every Sunday (at 10pm, after Love Island 2025) because Aftersun is always giving. Not only is it hosted by Queen Maya Jama, but it’s LIVE, which means those crafty Love Island editors don’t get a chance to get their mitts on it. In other words, the tea is frequently piping, unfiltered and unexpected. Our favourite flavour.
Take what happened on last night’s episode for example...

Producers invited All Stars 2025 legends Gabby Allen and Kaz Crossley on to the show and Maya being the queen of telly grilling obv asked exactly what we wanted to know.
In Gabby’s case, why she and Casey O’Gorman didn’t work out despite winning the show and being the CUTEST of couples.

Live telly magic time; Gabby clearly had plenty to say about why things didn’t work - alluding to the fact that things are very different inside the villa to real life - but couldn’t decide which PR-approved words to spit out first.
Cue her bestie Kaz dubbing Casey a ‘boy’ and not a man in front of a full studio audience and millions watching at home. Ooft.

When asked what happened with her and Casey, Gabby said, 'How long have we got?'
She continued, 'I'm only joking. You know what? Not really that much to report. I feel like when you're in the villa, it's very different to when you get out. And we're just at very different stages in our lives.'
Kaz then beautifully added, 'Casey, he is a lovely boy, but emphasis on "boy".'

Gabby and Casey announced their split in mid-May 2025. The Islanders, who won the second season of All Stars, confirmed the news in a joint statement via their reps who said, 'After much thoughtful consideration, Gabby and Casey have decided to go their separate ways romantically.'
They went on to tell MailOnline, 'This decision was mutual, and they both remain on good terms as friends with a shared respect for each other.'

'Gabby is grateful for the memories they've created together and wishes Casey nothing but the best as they both move forward on their individual journeys.
'She's excited for what the future holds and appreciates,' Gabby's reps went on to tell the publication.
This article was not an ad for Aftersun, btw.
We just f**king love it.
