We love a bit of self-care and all this time at home has really given us an excuse to look after ourselves inside and out. Each week, we'll be asking the celeb lot to share their Sunday self-care routines, because taking care of yourself is more important than ever.

This week it's all about Liberty Poole, the Love Island 2021 contestant who championed self-love, female friendships and not settling when it comes to love... even if it's a few days before the show's finale.

As well as feeling good, the Brummie lass inspired us to look good, too. From making a strong case for bodycon dressesto rocking a statement red lip (Lib uses either MAC Ruby Woo or Retro Red, FYI) it's no wonder how she's already managed to secure some major fashion brand deals since leaving the villa.

Her latest venture is her very own edit with Boux Avenue, which she describes as 'the perfect fit' for her. We absolutely love to see it.

Liberty chats exclusively to heat about her self-care favourites, advice for dealing with trolls and very importantly, her go-to Nandos order in full, because er, journalism!

On self-care

Liberty Poole chats self-care

"On a self-care day, I love a nice, hot bubble bath with a few candles, I find it so relaxing. I'm loving the Lush Snow Fairy Shower Gel because I love the smell! I also love a face mask. I love the7th Heaven face masks, where you can get different flavours like strawberry and chocolate, I've always done them with my friends since I was younger. When we were at secondary school and would have sleepovers, we'd always put chocolate masks on and I still do that now!"

On skincare

Liberty Poole

"I love a melt-on-skin cleanser that helps get remove all your make-up and really great moisturiser is key. I use theSimple Moisturiser because it does a nice job and is a really good price, too. On my lips, I always just use Vaseline, which helps keep them juicy, especially in winter. I also can't get enough of the Soap & Glory 3-in-1 body wash, it's incredible, you can even use it to shave."

On make-up favourites

Liberty Poole

Liberty blew us away with her beauty looks in the villa, but which make-up products helped her achieve that golden glow?

"For my eyeshadow and baking powder, I just love Revolution. The Loose Baking Powder in Translucent is so good. For foundation, I love theNars Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation and for brows, I love the benefit Precisely, My Brow Pencil ."

"I love a MAC lipstick, I use Retro and Ruby Woo. If I'm doing a nude lip, I love either a Spice or Whirl lip penciland then I'll go over it with the NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream ."

Has Lib learned any make-up wizardry since her time on Love Island?

"At the moment I'm really into cat eyelashes, where they're shaped so they're shorter in the inner corners but go bulky towards the end. I also am experimenting with liquid highlighter at the moment. I used to always wear powder highlight, but am using the Revolution Liquid Highlighter and I'm loving it."

On single life

Liberty may have been looking for love at the start of summer, but after separating from Jake Cornish on the show, she says she is too busy for romance and is enjoying single life.

"I'm not really focusing on guys. People saying that I've inspired them after they've seen my journey means a lot more than guys just sliding in my DMS. I really want to focus on myself and what I am doing, that's my main priority at the moment."

"I don't want to jump from relationship to relationship, the next person that I meet I want to make sure that it's a long-term thing and something real and true."

A queen who knows her worth. 👏🏻

On Boux Avenue

Liberty Love Island Boux Avenue

"All the most dramatic moments in the villa, I was wearing Boux Avenue! When the lads went to Casa Amor I was wearing Boux pyjamas and I was always wearing their underwear. I love that their company messaging and how they're super inclusive for women. Their underwear is sexy but has a girly feel to it, so I feel like their brand represents me perfectly."

"My collection is inclusive because I've always had trouble finding the right bras because I'm bigger chested, so my new collection will have bras that are DD+ as well. I want girls to wear it and feel great in their own skin. I'm not a Skinny Minnie and I have a tummy, but I was wearing Boux Avenue and felt great. That's how I want girls to feel when they wear this collection, too."

Lib's favourite piece from the collection?

"I do love the Khalo Pansy set with the suspenders. I do love a pair of suspenders!"

On trolling

Unfortunately a large following often comes hand in hand with online negativity. So, how has Lib dealed with trolling since coming out of the villa and what's her advice for anyone going through it?

"As soon as I came out of the villa it was mostly love and support which was really nice. The longer I've been out, the more I've had little trolls creeping and not saying very nice things. Trolling isn't something I've just experienced on social media, I've also had comments made about me my entire life just in general by people who look down at me and my look."

"Obviously, 90% of people are absolutely lovely to you, but you do get that 10% who say horrible things to you in the street. My advice is just to remember who you are, keep true to yourself and as long as you know what you are and what you stand for, don't let other people's opinions bother you. Most times it's just a reflection of them and nothing to do with you. It's not your problem, it's their problem."

On really great advice

Liberty Poole

The best advice Liberty received recently was actually from co-star and BFF Kaz Kamwi. Can they just have their own primetime tv show already?

"When I came out of the villa, stuff was going on and Kaz actually said something that really stuck with me and every time I'm in a situation that's bothering me, I just say the same thing she told me in my head and it really helps. There was a situation going on when I was out of the villa and she said to me, 'Look, you need to remember what is background noise.'"

"So not every issue or problem that someone comes to you with is a valid issue. Some of it is just people having problems, you've got to see it as background noise in what's going on in your life. That's really helped me to sort of segregate the issues in my head with stuff that's just noise and what I need to overcome."

On Instagram pics

"To be fair, I wasn't a massive Instagram person before Love Island and just sort of took photos when I was out."

"My top tips are to get your flash on, I love flash on a photo. I think sometimes Instagram is so posed and it's alright to pose for pictures when you're feeling good, but I would also try and get the fun and smiling photos as well that show your personality."

Quickfire round:

Show you’re currently binging? I've got Massive Chart Hits on in the background as I get my hair and make-up done.

Go-to cuppa? I love a proper builder's tea, so strong with a few sugars in.

Go-to loungewear brand? Definitely InTheStyle.

Favourite face mask? Elemis Pro-Collagen Hydra-Gel Eye Mask.

Go-to takeaway order? You can take the girl out of Nando's but you can't take Nando's out of the girl! I always get a quarter chicken leg piece and I'll always have a side of rice and I love the halloumi sticks with the chilli jam. Oh, and the garlic perinaise bangs. Can you tell I'm very passionate about Nando's?

Favourite candle? I love theBlack Cherry Yankee Candle .
