Love island's Amber Gill has apparently ended her relationship with 'secret boyfriend' Rory Colhoun, after she discovered that he was jailed back in 2017 for four years.
Rory reportedly beat up two nightclub doormen and left one of them seriously injured in hospital.
The TV star, 23, and Rory, 29, were first pictured together last January in Thailand with their legs intertwined and Rory's hand was placed on Amber's thigh.
One of Amber's friends revealed to MailOnline that the pair were in early stages of their relationship, but she has now split with Rory after hearing about his crime and conviction.
"Amber broke down today when she was told about Rory and his past.
"She had no idea about any of this," they explained.
The assault of the doormen, which took place took place at Club Mission in March 2015, occurred when Rory was just 23-years- old, and the victim who was of the same age, was left in 'critical condition' in the hospital.
In April 2017, Rory pleaded not guilty, however he was still sentenced to three years and four months imprisonment for wounding with intent and a further eight months concurrent for attempting to cause GBH (grievous bodily harm) with intent.
"Amber has been in the early stages of dating someone and this has come as a big shock to her.
"Understandably it's caused her a great deal of upset and stress as it's all come out of the blue," Amber's friend explained.
