Love Island’s Shannon Singh to couple up with ex-Islander already? 👀😱

Well we didn't see this one coming

Love Island's Shannon Singh and Alexi Eraclides

She was brutally dumped from the Love Island villa after bombshell Chloe Burrows coupled up with her fella Aaron Francis, but it seems romance with ANOTHER ex-Islander could be on the cards for Shannon Singh.

Yep - as rumours swirl that Shannon could be set for a dramatic return to Casa Amor, series six star Alexi Eraclides has been leaving a load of flirty comments on Shannon's Instagram snaps; admitting he wants to 'wife' his 'crush.'

Remember him? Butler in the buff? Went in on day 23 with Biggs Chris and co? Had a bit of a thing with Jess Gale?

Well, yeah, anyway; fans are now calling for some cross-series pollination (ooh er) as they beg the couple to date.

Eagled-eyed Instagram account loveisland.secretbits noticed that Alexi had left some flirty comments on one of Shannon's posts, with him asking 'Let me wife you x'.

Bit forward, mate; but we admire the confidence.

When a follower asked if Alexi was 'crushing' on Shannon, he replied, 'I am I am x'. To that, another fan responded 'PLZZZZZ GO OUT 😍'.

Well we do know those Islanders aren't opposed to dating someone from another series. Just ask Laura Anderson and Max Morley, Lucie Donlan and Luke Mabbott, Wes Nelson and Arabella Chi...

We could go on.

Alex and Olivia Bowen

Some call them the OGs, and with very good reason. After coupling up on the second series of the show way back when, Alex and Olivia are five years strong and even put rings on it when they married in 2018. Our absolute faves, to be honest.

Paige Turley and Finn Tapp

The reigning champs of Love Island after falling for each other in South Africa, Paige and Finn hold the crown (for now) and moved into their fancy Manchester home together last summer. Adorable.

Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague

Some sceptics questioned whether it was true love when Tommy and Molly-Mae coupled up in 2019 (remember those claims he had eyes for Maura Higgins? ud83dudc40). They've proved everyone wrong, though; flaunting their romance all over Instagram and moving into their lush Manchester pad together.

Dom Lever and Jess Shears

Jess and Dom secretly married in a stunning Mykonos ceremony back in 2018 and welcomed their baby boy the following year. Safe to say things are going SPIFFINGLY for the pair.

Camilla Thurlow and Jamie Jewitt

Not content with their two puppies Audrey and Gus, Camilla and Jamie welcomed their adorable daughter in October 2020. Announcing the news on Instagram, Camilla said, "Nell Sophia Jewitt, 4:32am, 27th October, 6lb 5oz. There may be a thousand new photos on my camera roll, but none of them could ever do justice to the way you have lit up our lives."

Siânnise Fudge and Luke Trotman

They might've been runners-up to Paige and Finn, but Luke T and Siânnise are still going strong and – let's be honest – they're the undisputed King and Queen of TikTok. Who could forget that Heatwave routine that we sent viral last year? ICONIC.

Priscilla Anyabu and Mike Boateng

Priscilla and Mike keep things pretty low key after leaving the villa, but they're still serving us ALL the couple goals after a joint presenting gig at last year's MOBO Awards and using their platform to promote Black Lives Matter. Oh, we love 'em.

Callum Jones and Molly Smith

Callum and Molly survived lockdown together as they isolated in their plush Manchester mansion after leaving the villa last spring. If you follow the pair on Instagram, you've no doubt seen the wholesome af baking posts and cute couple snaps amongst the inevitable #ads.

This all comes after Love Island 2020 winners Paige Turley and Finn Tapp claimed Shannon could be set for a dramatic return to the show once Casa Amor opens its doors.

Chatting to heat on Under the Duvet with VOXI, Paige said she's convinced it won't be the last we've seen of Shannon and thinks ITV might have a trick up its sleeve to stir up some drama in Palma.

Paige told us, "I think though, Casa Amor, [Shannon]’ll come back in.

"Then they’ll send a video back to the main villa and it will be Shannon walking into Casa Amor."

IMAGINE.

Finn echoed his girlfriend’s theory as he speculated, "It will be Casa Amor."

Time will tell, eh?
