One of the biggest Love Island scandals this year actually took place outside the villa when one of Lucy Quinn’s pals leaked a voice note which appeared to show the Love Island 2025 bombshell claiming she was going to couple up with Tommy Bradley to ‘get all the way to the end’.

Of course, Lucy couldn’t address the voice note while she was in the villa but she finally broke her silence during the latest episode of Aftersun after she and Tommy were dumped from the villa.

Speaking to host Maya Jama, Lucy confirmed that she did send the voice note insisted all was not as it first seemed.

She explained, ‘We probably have all done it, like, sent voice notes to friends and obviously I did really trust my friend. With the Tommy situation, I was just saying he’s obviously a very nice boy and that’s why I wanted to get to know him.

‘I did say until the end, but it weren’t the final. I meant like the end result, meaning obviously I’d like to be with him in the future. Somone with really good morals and stuff like that. Also, before going on the show, my dad did say to me, “He’s the kind of boy I’d like you to bring home,” because he’s very respectful.’

Lucy also addressed calling Tommy’s former flame Megan Forte Clarke a ‘slapper’ in the voice note, issuing an apology to her fellow Islander.

‘I should never have commented on someone who I’ve never met before, so I do really apologise about that. I’m actually not that type of girl, and it was very rude of me to do that,’ she said.

Tommy spoke out in defence of Lucy as he added, ‘Obviously, at the time, we were just characters on a screen to her. I know you’re very excited about going on the biggest reality show in the country, so emotions are very high and you’re speaking to one of your close friends.

‘I think it has been blown out of proportion a little bit because, I’ll be honest, I’ve said things to my friends in group chats which if got leaked might make me look like a bad person. But it’s just to your mates, do you know what I mean? You never expect everyone to listen to it.’
