Despite 2020 being one of the worst years in recent history for many, former Love Island star Marcel Somerville has had a lovely few months. Not only is the Blazin' Squad singer going to be a dad for the first time, marriage is now on the cards after he proposed to his pregnant girlfriend Rebecca Viera.
The happy couple were at their own gender reveal party over the weekend with their closest family and friends, and moments after blue confetti confirmed they are expecting a baby boy, Marcel got down on one knee and popped the question.
Following the lovely moment, Rebecca took to her Instagram page to show off her stunning engagement ring, telling her followers, "Guys it’s a boyyyyyyy and I’m a wholeee fianceeeeee 😩❤️.
"I literally have no words I’m going to marry the love of my life and we’re having a son. God is good ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ @marcel_rockyb I love you more than life - thank you everyone who came and made this day special with us ❤️❤️❤️."
