As far as TV hosts go, Love Island's Maya Jama is up there with our absolute faves. A definite girl's girl, the Bristol born babe has been the face of the dating show since 2023 and what a fabulous two years it has been.
During her time hosting Love Island, there have been moments where it's been evident Maya wanted to pipe up and question some the contestants behaviour and same, hun.

This year's series saw her call out Ben Holbrough's shady remarks about Toni Laites and Maya also couldn't help but comment on Helena Ford's laughing when Harry Cooksley's Casa Amor antics were revealed.
'I don’t know, I probably wouldn’t find that funny if I was in a couple with someone like that,' she told the air hostess when Rheo Parnell confessed how Harry had been during his week away.
Now that the show has come to an end, with Toni and Cach Mirjah Mercer being declared winners, Maya has decided to follow just three of the Islanders from this year's series and obviously people have an opinion on it.

Fans have spotted that Maya only follows three of the finalists; Toni, who won, Shakira Khan who came in second and Yasmin Pettet who was declared third place.
After journalist Lottie Hulme posted a TikTok chatting about Maya's social media actions, countless people took to the comments section of the video to voice their thoughts.
The majority of people agree that Maya can do whatever she wants, with countless comments either not caring, agreeing with her choices or wondering why people are so furious.
'People need to get a grip. I hate the neutral approach, because it’s unnatural,' one person commented with another agreeing as they added, 'She’s allowed to follow who she wants it’s her Instagram account.'

However, others were not as supportive of Maya's decision to follow just Toni, Shakira and Yas, leaving a clear divide. Hey, it's like the Love Island villa all over again.
'As a host she should not get into that side of it as may seem bias,' someone declared with another fan claiming, 'She was very unprofessional this season.'
Obviously the news has reached Maya's ears and the TV show host has made it clear where she stands regarding peoples opinions.
'I followed them yesterday... after the show was finished & last time I checked I had free will to follow whoever I like lol,' Maya wrote.
Honestly, preach.
