Did anyone else almost fall off their couch last night when Love Island teased the return of Movie Night TONIGHT (Friday 11 July)? Love Island 2025 really is the gift that keeps on giving.

Not only has Maya Jama stuck to her promise of endless 'twists and turns', but the drama has been top notch, the movements have been mad, and Maya is now apparently in her clapping back at Islanders era (the number of times we have rewatched that Maya vs Ben Holbrough scene in the last few hours) and we're obsessed.

On top of all of that, producers have made the decision to bring back an OG Love Island staple: Movie Night – just HOURS after Casa Amor came to a climactic end.

Movie Night has been a part of Love Island since series seven. It pretty much does what it says on the tin; the Islanders gather for a 'night at the movies', where they watch back clips of themselves from previous episodes on a big cinema screen. Historically, this has exposed major drama, gossip, betrayals, and poor decisions, especially relating to any unexposed Casa Amor antics.

And given how our Islanders have been acting this year, we're anticipating a slasher film.

Naturally, fans totally lost it when it was revealed that Movie Night would play out on our screens in tonight's episode and passionate viewers were quick to share which scenes they want to see played back for our Island on socials. And if producers play even a handful of these scenes, we could be in for one of the most dramatic episodes of the series so far...

One Instagram user shared our own wishes fairly succinctly, writing, 'Don’t mess us about, we want to see Harry [Cooksley] telling the boys in Casa and Rheo [Parnelll] that Helena [Ford] was just a party girl, Helena begging Harry to go to the Hideaway, Dejon [Noel-Williams] and Andrada [Pop], Emma [Munro] telling Harry some home truths in Casa, Helena and Harry saying Dejon was making a game plan.'

Anyone suddenly having flashbacks of Martin Akinola wolfing down some popcorn?

After a quick skim of the comments on Instagram, we've clocked two main predictions: fans anticipate that Helena will brush off Harry's behaviour once again after the tapes have been rolled and major bust-up happening once THAT clip of Helena and Harry basically slagging off their besties Dejon and Meg – saying Dejon is in it for the win – is aired.

Let's just say there was a reason that was so prominently included in last night's edit...

One Love Island fan wrote, 'I’m not a fan of Meg and D but Harry and Helena judging them is wild. Helena will still stay with Harry after his antics because she sees it as, "well, by the end of the day he’s with me."'

Oh, and lots of viewers want Harrison [Solomon's] behaviour to be exposed so Toni Laites can finally move on from the connection.

One viewer commented, 'Please roll Harrison badmouthing Toni any chance gets behind her back.'

You've all got fabulous taste in films, btw. Let's hope Love Island producers do, too.
