We don’t mind telling you that Olivia Attwood is one of heat’s all-time favourite Love Islanders and the unofficial star of the 2017 series. Since then, she’s been a regular on our TV screens, appearing in TOWIE and her own reality series Olivia Meets Her Match, before fronting a documentary series for ITV called Getting Filthy Rich.
And the 31 year old’s diary is already full this year, with a second series of Getting Filthy Rich, a collection with jewellery brand Abbott Lyon - gorgeous btw - and her (three-times postponed) wedding to footballer Bradley Dack finally taking place this summer. As we catch her during one of her brief breaks, she updates us on everything that’s going on.
You’re travelling all over the place filming Getting Filthy Rich – what has been your favourite place to visit?
Paris was obviously gorgeous, and then we had an amazing time filming in Malaga, Spain, with one of the subjects. That was a unique experience, shall we say? I can’t wait for viewers to see it!
What’s been the most surprising thing you’ve learnt from the show?
I’m constantly surprised. I always think that I’ve seen everything, and then it gets to the next day of filming and I’m surprised again. This series, we delve into fetishes and the BDSM community, which was an eye-opener.
The thing that never fails to blow my mind is how much money some of these girls make.
You’ve hinted you might make a reappearance in the I’m A Celeb jungle, after you had to pull out after a few days last year. Can you confirm or deny the rumours?
I can’t do either, because that conversation hasn’t happened yet. I would love to go back and give it a proper go, but my diary is completely booked up with filming until this time next year. Maybe in 2024…
And you’ve got your wedding this summer, as well. How are you feeling about it finally being here?
I’m incredibly excited, but there are a lot of nerves there, as well. I’ve been having weird stress dreams about it, where I forget to set my alarm and oversleep on the day of the wedding, or walk down the aisle wearing shoes that are too big and trip.
Any famous names on the guest list?
Well, Beyoncé won’t be there, if that’s what you’re asking – but most of my friends are in the TV industry, so there will be a few familiar faces. Amber [Davies, Olivia’s Love Island co-star] will hopefully be able to make it, but she’s so busy in the West End at the moment.
You’ve been open about trying to drink less, but will it be a boozy wedding?
I think I’ll sip on Diet Coke throughout dinner and the speeches because I want to remember everything, but after that, it’s party time!
Have you got a big hen do planned?
We’re off to Ibiza a couple of weeks before the wedding, which will be amazing. My original plan was Las Vegas, but it all became a little bit complicated in the end.
Some brides give their bridesmaids tokens as a thank you – will you be gifting the girls anything?
I’m going to spoil the surprise by telling you, but I’m going to give them a few personalised pieces from my Abbott Lyon The Stamped Collection, maybe with their names or the date on, so that it will always remind them of this occasion.
How would you describe your taste in jewellery?
I’m primarily a gold girl and I love layering my jewellery. I have an “Olivia” necklace from my Abbott Lyon collection that I wear all the time. I’m very particular about what I like. When it came to my engagement ring, I’d been dropping so many hints about a teardrop cut that it was a huge relief to find out Bradley actually listens to me.
