Given that they have the near impossible task of condensing a whole day into a 45-60 minute final edit, there’s only so much that Love Island producers can fit into an episode.
There’s been bucketloads of drama this series, which means that bosses have been forced to cut moments that would have made into less dramatic series, but luckily dumped Islanders are returning to the real world and spilling the tea about what we’ve missed.
The latest Islander to dish the dirt on scenes we never got to see is Casa Amor’s Rheo Parnell, who got to know Harry Cooksley in the second villa.
But despite seemingly spending most of her time with Harry, Rheo has admitted that he wasn’t her first choice and she originally had her eye on someone else.
Taking to TikTok, Rheo shared a video of herself lip-syncing to the words, ‘Bitch, what the f**k?’ and wrote, ‘My friends and family when I went for Harry in Casa Amor 😭.’ Appearing to hint that she had no choice but to make a play for Harry, Rheo captioned the post, ‘Wouldn’t [have] been my first choice 🤭 #loveisland #tea.’
And when one of her followers, commented, ‘Knew you’d been forced into that one tbh x,’ Rheo spilled the ‘real tea’ that she wanted to get to know another boy.
She replied, ‘Me and Emma [Munro] were scrapping over Conor [Phillips] on the first night 😂😂😂.
‘She told me I can’t have her old man and her new man lmao.’
Wait, so there’s unseen footage of Rheo and Emma arguing over Conor out there somewhere? Producers, we need you to roll the tapes immediately.
While Emma ended up recoupling with Conor, they called things off pretty sharpish when they returned to the main villa and he later made it apparent that he’s interested in Shakira Khan.
After calling things off with Conor, Emma had a little flirt with her ex Harry but was forced to couple up with Cach Mirjah Mercer in a friendship couple. It now seems that she’s focused on Boris Vidovic after they shared a kis in the Hideaway.
Now we get what the Islanders mean when they say a day in the villa feels like a week in the real world.
