It was a delight to see Love Island legend Scott Thomas back on our screens for Love Island: All Stars – albeit for such a short amount of time. We didn’t think it was possible, but that man has got even better looking with age.
You’ll remember that after struggling to form a connection with India Reynolds and Tina Stinnes – which resulted in a major bust-up with Elma Pazar - Scott decided to voluntarily leave the Love Island villa on day 21.
Gathering the rest of the Islanders at the firepit he shared, ‘I don’t want this to be sad, guys, because I’ve had the best time ever, but I’ve made the decision to leave. I’ve had the best time ever. Every single one of you is amazing.’

Naturally we were devastated, but had to accept that Scott had made the right decision for him if not for us.
And his twin brother Adam Thomas – who shot to fame on Emmerdale and Waterloo Road and will soon be co-hosting your new favourite gameshow 99 To Beat with older brother Ryan Thomas – agrees.
When heat asks him about how he felt watching Scott back in the Love Island villa, he replies, ‘I missed him massively - I don't think we've been away from him for that long before - but it was amazing. And just seeing him, the way that he held himself throughout the whole Love Island journey was incredible.
‘I'm just happy that he left when he did. I felt like he felt like it was the right time. He lived and learned and that's what life is all about. He wanted to do it. He felt like he had unfinished business in there and wanted to go out and show the new Scott, and I feel like he did that.’

He continues, ‘But again, I feel like he was maybe just a little bit too mature and a little bit too old for the rest of the contestants in there. And he felt like he'd done enough, and that his time was done.’
Ryan adds, ‘He came across really well and as a family we’re really proud of him.’

And don’t panic, Scott’s experience hasn’t stopped him from looking for love. Although Ryan and Adam don’t think he’ll be coming to them for advice on that front.
Ryan jokes, ‘We would be the worst wingmen ever. We’re always surrounded by all our kids, it’s not cool for him.’
Damn, just when we thought we had our way in.
