We’ve got serious Love Island withdrawals right now and the only thing that’s keeping us going is the thought that the third series of All Stars will be rolling around in just a few months’ time.
With the series set to take place in January, now is around the time that producers start making contact with potential cast members and the rumour mill is in absolute overdrive churning out names of Islanders that could return for a second shot at love.
Ciaran Davies, Alima Gagigo and Andrada Pop are just some of the names swirling and we’d happily have all three of them back in the villa, but the latest name to be linked to the show is one that, to be quite honest, we NEED to happen.
Just days after she confirmed she’d split from her Love Island 2025 fella Jamie Rhodes, producers have reportedly been in talks with iconic bombshell Yasmin Pettet about returning to the villa.
‘ITV bosses are already starting to approach ex Islanders and they knew from the moment Yas stepped into the villa, she’d make the perfect ‘All Star’ - she’s one of the most controversial bombshells in the show’s history and will have absolutely no issue shaking up the villa for the second time, or treading on people’s toes,’ a source told The Sun.
‘Now things are over with Jamie, she’s in very early tentative talks. She’s not sure if going back to the show would be the right move but she’s had loads of offers.’
This all comes after Yasmin was forced to clear up rumours she’d ‘cheated’ on Jamie with The Traitors star Freddie Fraser at an NTAs afterparty last week.
Reports claimed Yasmin and Freddie were spotted holding hands, however Yasmin later clarified that they were just friends and there was definitely no cheating as she and Jamie had called time on their relationship before the awards ceremony.
‘Don’t get me wrong, I was talking in his ear, but you know what? Let me have a gossip. If I wanna gossip, I will gossip. Let me do that in peace,’ she said in a TikTok video.
‘They’re basically insinuating I left Jamie for him and that is just so not what happened. I never even left the after party with him.’
Speaking about her split from Jamie in an Instagram statement, she added, ‘As per my recent TikTok, myself and Jamie split before the NTAs but hadn’t formally announced it yet. We’re still really good friends and I’ll always have so much love and care for him for making my Love Island experience what it was.
‘I find it laughable that everyone thinks I cheated on Jamie with Freddie from The Traitors, which is not true and anyone who knows me knows my type is late 20s, 30s plus 😂.’
