Say what you want about Married At First Sight producers but they know how to cast a good series.
MAFS Australia's Collins Christian has been one of the most unique contestants we've ever seen on any TV show and controversial, but we're kind of here for it.
It all started off so well but following his awkward laughs, fake tears and being scared of a chicken - LOL - Nat called it quits and branded his reaction to their split an "Oscars performance"...
"I can't listen to you without hearing orchestra.
"I cannot communicate with someone who talks to me like we're on the set of Neighbours or Home and Away," she admitted.
(Side note: remember Neighbours and Home and Away? What a throwback)
After Nat quit the experiment for the second time, it meant the end of Collins' time on MAFS Australia too.
He's now spoken out on how he was portrayed on the show and what he's said is interesting.
"It's tough because I can't sit here and say, 'nah, I was real'. I definitely was but, what's on the screen, I can't fault what they're saying," he told the Daily Mail.
Speaking about how things went down with Nat, he told the publication, "I do come across dismissive, fake, an actor. All those things... I came across so fake. It was tough to watch."
And while Collins was an actor before the show, he appeared in a hair transplant advert, it turns out that MAFS bosses actually approached him three times.
"I know people have said, ‘Oh, you’re an actor, we saw you audition last year’. I’ll come out and say right now I’ve been approached for MAFS three times and this was the one where I went all the way.
"The first time I got pretty far and then didn’t make it to the very end. Last year I made it to the very end where I’ve gotten the call saying, ‘Pack your things, we’ve found you a wife, it’s time to go’.
"And then a week before I get told, ‘Look, Collins unfortunately your wife has pulled out’... I was really reluctant because I said, ‘I can’t be screwed around like that again. I quit my job for all of that and I can’t be screwed’,” he told Yahoo Australia.
Turns out third time isn't a charm because while he did make it on the show, it didn't turn out well for him and Nat and fans have been less than impressed too.
"Genuinely think that Collins doesn’t realise he’s on a reality TV show I think he thinks it’s a soap and he has to act," tweeted one viewer.
Someone else said, "Seriously?!! Collins is upset the party is going on without him, but not that his wife left him……. #MAFSAU."
LOL.
