If you’ve been watching the latest Australian series of Married At First Sight (and if you haven’t then get yourself on catch-up NOW, it’s so good) then you’ll know that groom Eliot Donovan has been at the centre of the drama from day one.
The MAFS Australia 2025 groom was originally matched with Lauren Hall by the show’s experts, but their relationship (if you can call it that) only lasted a matter of days before he quit the experiment. Then in a move no one saw coming, he returned to the show with intruder bride Veronica Cloherty.
Although their marriage got off to a good start, things took a turn for the worse when they entered the apartments to live together as a couple and they broke up before the end of the experiment. But, in yet another twist, Eliot has reportedly recoupled with another bride after filming – and just wait until you hear who it is.
Eliot has been spotted hanging out with Jamie Marinos since filming ended and according to reports, they’ve taken their friendship to the next level.
Now, we’re know what you’re thinking, Jamie’s on-screen relationship with Dave Hand has been going swimmingly and the pair even agree to stay together the final vows. However, they ended up splitting after the show came to end.
Sources close to the cast have revealed that Eliot and Jamie are ‘officially together’ after ‘sparks flew’ between them as they spent more time together post-show.
‘This isn’t just a fling. They’re very much in it for real,’ an unnamed cast member told Woman’s Day.
‘Jamie was supposed to stay in separate accommodation on the Gold Coast this week, but she cancelled her plans to spend the week with Eliot instead.
‘Jamie has been "incognito" since arriving on the Gold Coast and was planning to try to keep this from everyone, as they really want to make a serious go of this.’
They continued, ‘They’ve gone from mates to full couple mode. It’s been a bit of a whirlwind, but it feels natural for them.’
Another source added, ‘They’ve gone all in. There’s a genuine connection here. It’s sweet, a little spicy and totally unexpected. But everyone who knows them can see how happy they are.’
