If you’ve been watching the latest series of Married At First Sight UK then you’ll be aware of the drama that’s been unfolding between Polly Sellman and Adam Nightingale.
The pair were matched by the show’s relationship experts, but their marriage didn’t get off to the greatest start as he admitted he didn’t fancy her just moments after they laid eyes on each other for the first time.
Things then went from bad to worse as Polly was left in tears when Adam admitted he still wasn’t physically attracted to her despite the fact they slept together on their honeymoon.
Like a lot of her MAFS UK 2024 castmates, Polly has spilling loads of behind-the-scenes tea about her time on the show on social media and she recently opened up about something that her on-screen husband banned her from doing while they were filming.
During a live Q&A with her Instagram followers, Polly revealed that Adam didn’t allow her to, erm, break wind around him.
She said, ‘Yeah it is normal, but I wasn't allowed to fart because he said it was disgusting and he'd leave.’
Polly and Adam have been facing problems in their relationship after he made it clear that he didn’t fancy her, claiming that his usual type was ‘petite brunettes’.
However, they have decided to stay in the experiment at all of the commitment ceremonies so far and have been trying to work through their differences.
Viewers recently saw Polly’s best friend Alfie hit out at Adam for the way he spoke about her on their wedding day.
At the reception, Adam told Alfie, ‘She's not my usual type. My ex-partners have been dark hair. I normally go with girls that I think, “Oh my God, I think you're unreal.”’
In scenes that aired this week, Alfie visited Polly and Adam and told the groom, ‘To be honest, I was pissed off at the wedding. I'd just walked my mate down the aisle. She gets married and then this guy's like, “Yeah, she's not really my type”.
‘You're like, “Unreal brunette” That did upset me.’
